Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Forge is a GPU-accelerated text embedding API. We provide vector embeddings for your text data via a REST API. We offer multiple model tiers (Turbo, Pro, Ultra), available on every plan with a single API key. The Turbo tier is provided free of charge, subject to rate limits; the Pro and Ultra tiers, and the Answers product, are billed on metered token usage. We also offer a retrieval add-on and hosted Spaces publishing.

2. Account and API Keys

You must provide a valid email address and password to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your keys have been compromised. We reserve the right to revoke keys associated with abuse.

You are responsible for: safeguarding your own account credentials and API keys and rotating them if you suspect compromise; configuring any access controls, authentication, or authorization you apply on top of the API within your own application; reviewing and managing the users you grant access to your own account or corpora; and ensuring any content you submit complies with applicable law and §3 below. Voxell's security controls apply to our infrastructure and platform; they do not extend to how you build, secure, or operate your own application on top of our API.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to exceed rate limits or attempt to circumvent them; use the service for any unlawful purpose; reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying models; resell API access without prior written agreement; or submit content that violates applicable laws or third-party rights.

4. Billing and Payment

Metered usage is billed by token volume through Stripe against a prepaid balance. The Turbo tier and the published free-tier allowances are provided at no charge and are not metered; new accounts start at a zero prepaid balance and receive no automatic signup tokens. Subscription plans are billed monthly or annually at the published rate. Prices and allowances are published on our website and may change with 30 days notice. Unpaid accounts may be suspended.

5. Data and Privacy

For the bare embedding endpoint (POST /v1/embed), your input text is processed for embedding generation and is not stored after the job completes; embedded vectors are returned to you and not retained. This does not apply to the Answers or Spaces products: content you ingest into a corpus (Answers) or publish (Spaces) is stored and retained until you delete it or your account is terminated, per our data retention practices. 6. Service Availability

We target high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or service interruptions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voxell shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. You may request account deletion by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your API keys are revoked and access ceases immediately. Outstanding usage charges remain payable.
